This is an official notice to all members of the Louisiana State Association .Nominations and Elections will be held for the following positions, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Retiree, Congressional Liaisons District 1-7, Two Members At Large. The terms of office  will be two years, from June 2011-June 2013. Nominations and Elections to be held Friday June 3, 2011 at the Holiday Inn, 1800 Martin Luther King Blvd. Houma, La. 70360

 The objects of the Association are to assist the National Association of Letter Carriers in maintaining a more perfect organization and improving the Postal Service, to conduct training and educational seminars for all members, and to guide and direct all activities relating to legislation within the State and other activities requested by the branches, and represent all branches when requested.

LSALC has been serving the Louisiana community since 1930 with the first state convention being held in Shreveport.
